In recent times, many users have raised concerns about how Meta handles issues related to verified accounts on its platforms — especially Instagram. One growing frustration is that after subscribing for verification, users expect improved support and problem resolution, but the experience often feels disappointing.

Like many others, I personally noticed that when I reached out to Instagram support for help, my issues were deliberately left unresolved. It seemed as though the system was designed to make me keep renewing my verification subscription just to maintain access to support — a situation that feels unfair and exploitative.
Verification should mean trust, authenticity, and better service — not a never-ending cycle of payments. Meta needs to do better. Users deserve transparent, reliable support that doesn’t depend on whether or not they’ve paid for a badge.
At its core, social media should be about connection, creativity, and communication — not manipulation or profit-driven neglect. Meta must rethink its approach and restore the value of verified services, so creators and businesses can truly feel supported rather than used.
